I was randomly stepping through games I could play in the browser yesterday morning during the in-class break of Lawrs's section and this game made me secretly teared up a bit in the back row. I wish the black screening in the end could be longer though, now it jumps back to the beginning too fast and sort of drags me out of it.
Sorry I made you cry!!! But thank you for the suggestion! I was worried if it was too long people wouldn't realize it looped but I do agree it is a bit fast... I'll lengthen the duration :) !!
got teary-eyed over this :) suggestion: maybe in the second to last portion the child swats the mom's hand away? could be effective in conveying them growing apart
Yesssssss tears are the goal so I'm happy to hear it affected you :} and thank you for the suggestion!!! I don't have the time/energy to implement it now/before the showcase but perhaps in a future version...!
This game is really wholesome and well done. The simple action of moving the spoon is oddly very engaging when coupled with the narrative. Also, this made me cry in class so I hope you're happy.

as all the others have said, this was lovely :') simple but moving; every small part of it really carries its weight to mesh into a beautiful whole
Thank you so much!!! I'm so touched you feel that way, and I'm glad my game was able to evoke such feelings :}
